For seven years, Sō Percussion has been running a loft series from their studio in Brooklyn’s Navy Yard neighborhood. In this special marathon evening, percussionists from different parts of Brooklyn’s rich percussion scene converge to showcase all things percussion at Roulette. 

Celebrating the release of Jason Treuting’s “Nine Numbers” album on Cantaloupe Music, and culminating in a group rendition of Julius Eastman’s Stay on It, this concert places traditions like Trinidadian steel drums and percussion traditions from Japan, Brazil, and India alongside contemporary percussion chamber music for an eclectic, genre-loaded event.  

Beginning at 6:00pm, the concert will be a casual marathon-style event where the audience can come and go throughout.
